SAFFRON INDIAN RESTAURANT

"Coming from NYC, we wanted something comforting, bursting with spices and authentic flavors. We were pleasantly surprised by Saffron. During lunch, we ordered their Chicken Tikki Masala and fish curry, both medium-spiced, along with garlic naan and a hot masala chai. The curry was creamy, the chicken tender, and the garlic naan was baked fresh. The flavors were excellent, and the food was served hot. The staff was friendly and even accommodated our request to sign one of their plates as a souvenir. Highly recommended!"

"A local recommended this place and I’m so glad we went! I am admittedly a basic B when it comes to Indian food but it was fantastic. The paneer makhani was so yummy and the coconut naan was really good, maybe a little too sweet for my preference but it was a delicious combo with the savory sauce. The hot masala chai was soooo good and probably my favorite thing I ordered. Really relaxing atmosphere."

"Was very reluctant to try Indian food specially in small town because of past bad experiences. Mostly they are not cooked well and always made sweeter to please everyone. Anyways decided to try it. For starters tried the chilli chicken. Which kind of was disappointing. Yes it was cooked sweet. The chicken was crunchy but nothing extraordinary. Chicken Karahi - it was decent. A creamy curry and thankfully not sweet. The chicken pieces were dry though. Chicken Vindaloo - it was also a decent one. Nice flavours etc. but the chicken pieces were dry. Naan were good Entres were served with white rice. The restaurant’s entrance was a weird one. You have to take stairs from the back of a building to enter. Overall a decent place to have your Indian food fix. Don’t expect too much. Service & the servers were attentive and quick."
